A SURFER was mauled to dying by a shark in entrance of horrified onlookers at a preferred seaside.
Emergency crews are looking for the physique of a 46-year-old man after the incident was reported on Saturday morning in South Australia.
The terrifying assault occurred round 10am at a seaside close to Elliston, a preferred getaway about 400 miles west of Adelaide.
The person was reportedly browsing at Walkers Rock when he was attacked.
Police have since revealed they consider the person is now useless.
The The South Australian Ambulance Service are reportedly on standby on the seaside as cops conduct the search.
